About Us

Why Winston Electric? We are not your average electrical company.

Our home building and remodeling background makes us unique. We understand how homes are constructed – not just from an electrical standpoint, but from every angle. We have experience working on a variety of homes in the greater Winston-Salem area. 

We understand how framing, drywall, cabinetry, roofing, plumbing, HVAC, and other trades interact with electrical work.

We know what needs to happen, when it needs to happen, and how to coordinate our work alongside other trade partners so the project is completed seamlessly. This added level of experience and understanding of the entire project allows us to anticipate potential challenges before they become problems, make well-informed decisions, and install effective electrical systems. 

We don’t just know electrical – we know construction.

Luke Phillips

Founder and President

Luke Phillips, who founded Winston Electric in 2025, brings a strong background in construction, operations, and business leadership to the company. He graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Business and earned his MBA from Ohio University. Luke and his team are committed to providing dependable electrical service, quality workmanship, and a level of care customers can trust. Together, they serve homes, businesses, and communities throughout the Greater Winston-Salem area. Luke met his wife, Hope, at Clemson, and they now call Winston-Salem home. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, grilling, and watching Clemson sports.
